I started my Insurance career in Colville, WA 8/16/1994. I was looking for a job and there were two really great one’s available in this little city, a Travel Agent (which I had done before) and an Insurance Agent. I choose Insurance only because I wouldn’t have to work weekends 😊 I like the one on one interaction with my clients. I also really like to solve problems.
In my spare time I work in my vegetable garden. I love to travel, cruises, waterslides and yard sales. Growing up my family did a lot of moving, so I usually went to a new school each year. I was born in Chicago and raised Chicago and California (Northern and Southern). From 1980 through 1983, I worked as a bartender and did some modeling and background acting. I was an extra in the “Blues Brothers” movie and got to meet James Caan when I doubled for Tuesday Weld in the movie “Thief”. In 1983 I worked for American Airlines out of O’Hare Field in Chicago.

Joshua fell into insurance by accident in the spring of 2020. When he lost his barbershop due to the pandemic, he had to figure out a “Plan B”. He never imagined that he would end up having such a passion for the insurance industry. He believes that the work we do here is extremely important and makes sure to give each client 100%. His plan B became his plan A. Happy accidents! Joshua grew up, and is still located, in sunny Sacramento, California. When he’s not in the office working, you can find him somewhere in the Sierras with his pup or spending time keeping in touch with old clients (like Brett’s brother, Braden!)
Fun Fact: Two years ago when Joel (the boss man) came to visit his son and grandkids in Roseville, CA, Joshua cut his hair at the barbershop with no indication that in just a few years, he would be working for him here at Guide.
